Mukhyamantri Vigyan Pratibha Pariksha (MVPP) is the most prestigious Scholarship Exam for Class IX students studying in schools of Delhi. This program helps the student in understanding the basics of Science & Mathematics and General Awareness. Absolute clarity of concepts helps in increasing the IQ & reasoning ability and developing a strong foundation that is so essential for success in one’s career.
What is Mukhyamantri Vigyan Pratibha Pariksha (MVPP)?
Mukhyamantri Vigyan Pratibha Pariksha (MVPP) earlier known as Junior Science talent Search Examination (JSTSE) is conducted by Science Branch of Education, Delhi. 1000 meritorious students will get Rupees 5000 as scholarship. Any student from a recognized school (Govt. /Govt. Aided / Public / KV / Navodaya / MCD / NDMC / DCB) in GNCT of Delhi, currently in IX and has secured minimum 60% marks in VIII can apply for MVPP.5 % relaxation in marks for the students belonging to SC/ST and PH category.
Why should I appear in Mukhyamantri Vigyan Pratibha Pariksha (MVPP)?
MVPP is one of the most prestigious scholarship exams. A MVPP scholar commands tremendous respect in the society. It provides students with an opportunity to appear in a Govt. / State recognized scholastic exam very early in his / her academic learning. Thus, giving an opportunity to stay ahead in the competition.
It also honours and helps talented students by providing financial assistance in the form of a scholarship.
PATTERN OF WRITTEN EXAMINATION:
Note: The official notification regarding the pattern of MVPP this year has not been released yet. Following pattern of written examination has been taken from last year.
The Examination consists of two papers
- Mental Ability Test (MAT) – No. of Questions – 100, Marks – 100 and Time Allotted – 120 Min
- Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) – No. of Questions – 100, Marks – 100 and Time Allotted – 120 Mins
There will be no negative marking
COURSE STRUCTURE:
- Subjects Covered will be Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, MAT & Sst.
- Subject wise packages and additional problems will be supplemented wherever necessary. Students should not require any additional books etc.
- Students also gain important exam practice through quizzes & mock tests (conducted in a simulated environment giving the students a ‘feel’ of the real exam) that can help them improve their examination temperament – a necessary element for success in any competitive exam.
